Academic Success
The Mayville State Women's Basketball Team had great success on the floor this year, and also had great success in the classroom as well. We have a phrase in our program that says "Basketball may have brought you to Mayville State, but it is NOT why you are at Mayville State". "You are here to go to class and earn your degree". That phrase is mentioned quite a bit during a player's playing career within the Women's Basketball Program here at Mayville State.
The Comets finished the Spring 2022 Term with a Team GPA of 3.76. The team had all 21 players that had at least a 3.0 GPA or higher. The team had 19 of the 21 players earn a 3.50 GPA or higher. The team also had seven players that achieved a GPA of 4.0 for the semester.
The Comets finished this past year with an overall record of 20-7 and an 11-3 NSAA Conference record.
